ACCESS TO MOBY BOAT

Climbing onto the boat from a dock is usually just a matter of stepping onto it but at other times, a ladder is useful. The rigid boat ladder that mounts on the toerail is especially useful for climbing into the boat from a dinghy.

Ladder

Handholds at the top of the ladder provide support for climbing the steps, which extend under water. The ladder may be stored behind the dinghy during travels and inside the boat when away from it.

Ladder
  • A flexible ladder of oak steps threaded with rope is useful for climbing into the boat after swimming.
  • The rope loops at the top are usually hooked around a stern post but may be used elsewhere.
